FGM Architects (FGMA) is pleased to announce that Jan Behounek is the new Higher Education Practice Leader, succeeding Joe Chronister who is now the Managing Director of the FGMA Austin office.
In a statement announcing Jan’s appointment, Joe Chronister said, “I am thrilled to congratulate Jan as she takes on the role of Higher Ed Practice Leader for FGMA. She brings enthusiasm, expertise, and a spirit of collaboration to our growing list of college and university clients.”
Jan joined FGMA as a Principal in 2019 & has worked primarily on higher education projects throughout her career. She is working on projects for Northwestern University, Dominican University, Wheaton College & Northern Illinois University as well as a new Student Life Link Center for Waubonsee Community College. Past clients include Northwestern University, University of Chicago, Grinnell College, Central College, and the Public Building Commission of Chicago. She is a Board Member of the Chicago Building Congress.
