FGM Architects is proud to recognize Principal Paul Klee, FAIA, ALEP, LEED AP, NCARB, for earning the Learning Environment (LE) Fellow designation from the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE), one of the organization's highest honors.

The LE Fellow designation recognizes individuals who have demonstrated sustained excellence, leadership and service while advancing the planning, design and delivery of learning environments. Fellows are recognized not only for their professional accomplishments, but also for their lasting contributions to the profession through mentorship, advocacy, research and a commitment to improving educational experiences for future generations.

Paul is one of only six 2026 LE Fellow recipients.

Throughout his career, Paul has dedicated himself to helping school districts create innovative learning environments that support evolving teaching methods, student well-being and community engagement. His work is rooted in the belief that thoughtful design can positively influence how students learn, educators teach and communities connect.

Beyond his project work, Paul has been an active leader within A4LE and the educational design community. He has mentored emerging professionals, shared his expertise through conference presentations and publications, and contributed to conversations that continue to shape the future of learning environments. His collaborative approach has helped strengthen partnerships among educators, planners, architects and community stakeholders while advancing best practices across the profession.

"I'm deeply honored to receive this recognition from an organization that has played such an important role in advancing educational design," said Paul. "The greatest reward has always been collaborating with educators, clients and colleagues who share a passion for creating places where students can thrive. This honor reflects those partnerships and our collective commitment to improving learning environments for future generations."

Paul's recognition as an LE Fellow reflects not only a distinguished career in educational architecture, but also his ongoing commitment to elevating the profession through leadership, service and the sharing of knowledge. His contributions continue to inspire innovative thinking and support the creation of learning environments that make a lasting impact on students, educators and communities.

FGMA congratulates Paul on this well-deserved achievement and celebrates his continued leadership in advancing educational design.
