FGM Architects and PRIME AE provided planning and design services for the recently completed Fire Station No. 3, located at the northeast corner of Mayfair and Raber Roads in the City of Green, Ohio. As a new station for the city, Fire Station No. 3 provides improved emergency response times not only for the Northeast quadrant, but for the city as a whole.
The 12,250 sf facility features three bays, associated bay support spaces, a training/meeting room, kitchen, dining room, day room, exercise room, and private bunkrooms for the crew of 4. The station design also incorporates enhanced decontamination using Hot Zone Design strategies as well as extensive on-site training features.
