Kevin has served FGMA for nearly his entire career. Through hard work, accepting responsibility and embracing accountability, he has grown his role from serving in production to becoming the Managing Director of the St. Louis region. Growing up, he learned the value of hard work from his carpenter and farmer father, who would work 12+ hours a day, 7 days a week, with assistance on the farm from Kevin. Life has come full circle, as Kevin now resides back in his hometown northeast of St. Louis in Illinois.
Kevin’s motivation comes from seeing the impact of projects in the communities FGMA serves. He said, “For many, they may only experience a major building project once in their community. Seeing the joy and excitement that it brings to the ones using the space is extremely rewarding.” He enjoys the collaborative process of design: listening to and learning from the client how they intend to use a space. Kevin is a strong believer in the symbiotic relationship between design thinking and technical thinking, believing that you can’t have one without the other.
Kevin values relationships and spends his free time with family, traveling and getting together with friends, including many from high school with whom he stays in touch.
