David Kehm
Associate, Architect
As a Principal, David works primarily in FGMA’s Municipal and Higher Ed practice areas. Throughout his lengthy career, he’s worked on a diverse range of project types and says that “As an architect, my passion is working with clients to achieve their goals, whether it’s a new office building for their employees or a new school for their students. First, I love seeing the excitement clients express during the design process. But ultimately, it’s seeing the enjoyment of their employees or students as they experience a new building.”
David believes in giving back both to the architectural profession and to the larger community. He served on the AIA St. Louis chapter Board for several years, completing his term as 2016 Board President. In addition, he has served on the St. Louis County Library Foundation Board.
Outside of work, David and his wife are avid road cyclists and frequently participate in group cycling events. A particularly memorable experience was riding in RAGBRAI, the Des Moines Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, an epic seven-day rolling fest of bicycles, food, music, camaraderie and community.
