As FGMA’s Chief Financial Officer, Charles brings a strategic, people-first approach to financial leadership, aligning insights, planning and performance with the firm’s long-term vision. With more than 14 years of experience supporting high-growth organizations across the AEC industry and Fortune 50 environments, he helps teams turn data into clear direction that supports sustainable growth.

Charles is known for partnering closely with senior leaders to strengthen profitability while advancing operational efficiency. His background spans financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, risk management and compliance, plus oversight of real estate and procurement. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting at a top infrastructure consulting firm, where he led a 45-member team and helped rebuild the department’s leadership structure while driving initiatives tied to planning, compliance and operational excellence.

A champion of financial technology, Charles is especially interested in how tools like AI can improve reporting speed, reduce administrative workload, and elevate data quality. He also values mentorship and enjoys helping non-financial staff build financial literacy, supporting stronger decision-making and improved project outcomes across the firm.

Charles holds bachelor’s degrees in accounting, finance and accounting information systems, as well as an MBA. When not at work, Charles enjoys spending time with his wife, Kat, and 7-year-old son Charlie. He is passionate about golfing (poorly), traveling and supporting Charlie’s hobbies, which include baseball and video games.
