Westchester, IL – FGM Architects (FGMA) announces the upcoming retirement of Chief Financial Officer Diane Gilmartin, who has played a pivotal role in the firm’s financial growth and strategic planning over the past nine years. Diane will continue to serve in her role through a carefully planned transition period and will work closely with the Executive Team and the incoming CFO to ensure continuity and success.

Since rejoining FGMA in 2016, Diane has been instrumental in steering the firm through one of its most dynamic periods of expansion and transformation. Under her financial leadership, FGMA has grown its annual revenues from $18 million to over $46 million and expanded its footprint with new offices in Milwaukee, Austin, Fort Worth, and Virginia. Her commitment to financial excellence, accurate reporting and collaborative business relationships has been foundational to the firm’s long-term sustainability and success.

“Diane joined FGMA at a pivotal time in our growth, helping to guide the firm’s financial stability and strategy,” said John Dzarnowski, CEO of FGMA. “We are deeply grateful for the mark she’s left on our organization – not only as an expert in her field, but as an indispensable business partner. Thanks to her leadership, our accounting team is strong, our business is thriving, and we are well-positioned for the future. On behalf of everyone at FGMA, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Diane for her dedication, leadership and partnership.”

Reflecting on her time at the firm, Diane shared,

Returning to FGMA was the smartest move I made in my career. I am proud to be retiring under the best circumstances. It has been an honor to serve as CFO and to be part of our culture, working alongside such a talented group of people. I leave knowing that FGMA is well positioned for continued success, and I am committed to ensuring a smooth transition.”

With an anticipated start date for a new CFO in June, Diane will remain actively involved throughout the transition, offering guidance and support to ensure a seamless handoff of responsibilities.
