FGM Architects Inc., a leading design firm with offices in the Midwest and Texas, is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors. Jill Kouri and Rajan Sheth are the employee-owned firm’s first external board members.
Jill Kouri is Chief Marketing Officer of the Americas for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), a leading professional services firm that specializes in real estate and investment management.
At JLL, Ms. Kouri leads a 250+ person team focused across marketing, communications and sales enablement. Ms. Kouri, a passionate advocate for diversity in the workplace, was named a 2016 Woman of Influence by Chicago Business Journal. She recently completed a two-year term on the College of Business Leadership Council for Bowling Green State University, her alma mater, and is also an advisory board member of Dress for Success. Prior to joining JLL in 2014, Ms. Kouri was a managing director at Accenture for almost 14 years.
Rajan Sheth is the chairman of the board and former CEO of Mead & Hunt, a national engineering and architecture firm. During Mr. Sheth’s 24-year tenure as CEO (1994-2018), Mead & Hunt grew from a local Wisconsin company to a national firm with offices in 20 states. During this same period, annual revenue grew from $10M to $140M. Mr. Sheth currently serves as a Trustee for the American Council of Engineering Companies Retirement Trust, the College of Engineering at the University of Virginia, and on the Industrial Advisory Board for the University of Wisconsin College of Engineering. He also serves as a director on the board of several
other private companies.
