FGM Architects is pleased to announce that Jan Behounek, AIA, LEED AP has joined the firm as a principal, working in its Chicago office. With 20+ years in the industry, Ms. Behounek brings a wealth of experience to her new role, working primarily on higher education projects and business development.
Ms. Behounek’s diverse portfolio includes design work for collegiate science, classroom and library projects; theaters; multi-family and student housing; religious, and municipal projects, among others. Her clients have included Northwestern University, University of Chicago, Dominican University, Cook County, City of Chicago and Chicago Public Schools.

Before coming to FGM Architects, Ms. Behounek was an Associate Principal at Holabird & Root. She is a current Board Member of the Chicago Building Congress.
